These whimsical brushes were my created after taking a Skillshare class on making high-resolution brushes. Our assignment was to make a cohesive set of quality Photoshop brushes and share them online. A fun challenge and an excellent refresher on creating Photoshop high-resolution brushes.
If you’d like to make your own set; you’ll enjoy Helen Bradley’s classes. Her instructions are clear and the course material well presented. I’ve taken several of her other Photoshop and Illustrator classes. They were wonderful too.
This class comes from Skillshare. Get a full month of streaming access to it along with 15,000 other classes FREE by clicking the image below.
There are lots of online learning resources. Skillshare is different because they give people unlimited access to their entire library of more than 15,000 classes! Skillshare teachers include many industry experts. People like Aaron Draplin, SEO expert Rand Fishkin, and hand letterer Mary Kate McDevitt. All for one monthly membership of $10. I started with the free Premium month trial. Loved it so much I joined as a regular subscriber. I love that instructors respond to student questions and take time to comment on your work. The Skillshare student community is also supportive and inspiring.
The Photoshop brushes were created from a set of hand-drawn clip art available in my Etsy shop. Illustrator was the software used to create the clip art set.(click the image below if you’re interested).
